Updated June 4, 2000. SYNOPSIS Michael Dennehy (John Bluthal) has been a friend to the wee folk all his life. He lives on Fairy Hill and protects the Leprechauns living there from other big folk. But now he has to protect them from their greatest threat -- his son, John. When Michael flies to America to visit his son and grandkids, the Queen of the Fairies, the King of the Leprechauns and his two henchmen Patrick and Flynn (McCoy) come along for the ride. Unfortunately for Dennehy, no one else can see the wee folk, not even young Mikey or little Mel. But with a bit of Leprechaun Luck and good Fairy Fortune, Fairy Hill might be saved from becoming the next themepark: Ireland Land. REVIEW This is a kiddie movie and it probably helps to be ten years old or younger. That might be why I enjoyed it so much. Flynn is probably Sylv's smallest role, even though he has plenty of screen time. My favorite part of the movie is the music. I only wish they had made a soundtrack. NOTE The sequel to this movie is Spellbreaker, Secret of the Leprechauns. PRODUCTION INFO Produced by Moonbeam Entertainment in 1995. AVAILABILITY Currently Available. SOUNDS As with all my wavs, I have compressed and uncompressed versions. For the regular 11,025 Hz, 16 bit, Mono sounds, click on the
