"I had no idea of the impact that little creature had... the kids loved him... and the grown-ups loved him as well!"
David Brierley must surely be one of the most often overlooked regulars from Doctor Who and this Myth Makers goes some way towards rectifying this. Quiet and contemplative, it often feels like a cosy chat by the fire rather than an interview, and this works in the tape's favour. Discussed at length are the differences between being a voice-over actor and a physical actor, as well as K-9 and Tom Baker. Unfortunately the Doctor Who memories are somewhat sparse, perhaps owing to the number of stories he worked on, although his enthusiasm for Shada remains unchanged. Perfect for sunday afternoons, or rainy days, this tape isn`t the liveliest but is certainly one of the more informative.
